Overview:

Discover how the lives of prehistoric people changed through time in this journey from the Stone Age to the Iron Age. Handle genuine and replica objects from that time, learning how they were made and used. Take on the role of an archaeologist and use your skills to identify the significance of the objects you find.

This half day workshop can be extended for a full day to include rope making and prehistoric art using natural pigments.

A half day session is 2 hours and would include an archaeologist introduction followed by a rotation of workshops to cover the 3 prehistory times; Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. A full day also includes rope making and an art activity as well as time to look at our galleries. This would last an additional 2 hours.
