A workshop with Nadine Anderson, back by popular demand!

Weave locally harvested Rush & Willow bark to create a pocket or slip case for a mobile phone. Using basic basketry techniques to make a unique textured basket around a simple mould. 

Local Master Basketmaker Nadine Anderson provides all materials, tools, and moulds. She will impart some of the history of Rush weaving and give a brief overview of how the Rush is grown, harvested, stored, and prepared for weaving and will have examples of her work for students to handle.

Workshop includes tea and cake.
