Epic Tales Creative Writing Workshop

Give your young writers the gift of inspiration this summer by letting them spend time with local storyteller and author Chip Colquhoun. With the help of heroes from Cambridgeshire folklore, they’ll discover the essential ingredients of great stories, and leave confident in their ability to create and tell.

Chip is the author of Cambridgeshire Folk Tales for Children as well as the Fables & Fairy Tales series illustrated by Korky Paul. He’s an Oxford Owl storyteller who has entertained audiences from Hong Kong to Glastonbury Festival, as well as our very own Ely Museum, Cathedral, and Library. He also represented the Roald Dahl Museum for ITV.

This two hour creative writing workshop is suitable for children aged 8-12 years. Parents/guardians are not required to stay in the room, but are asked to remain on site, or in this general area. Free admission to the museum is included for one adult.
