Bookbinding Workshop- Mixed Abilities
Join us at Ely Museum for a practical bookbinding workshop with Helen’s Handmade Books. This workshop will introduce you to Secret Belgian book binding, combining the best of Western and Japanese techniques. You will create a versatile book which lies flat when open, that can be used as a journal, a sketchbook or even a photo album.
This workshop is suitable for everyone whether you are a beginner or are looking to learn a new technique. All equipment and materials will be provided along with step-by-step demonstration and practice as well as some tea and cake.
Suitable for adults.
Saturday 15 June, 10am – 4.30pm
£115 for a full day session including a homework pack to make another (smaller) book at home.
