How the people of Sutton Hoo got a huge ship up a hill\, or what magical stories were told around the fire at West Stow? \nThis summer\, join two intrepid adventurers as they jump back to the past in search of answers to all your Anglo-Saxon questions! \nAccompanied by hands-on Anglo-Saxon craft workshops\, this play is a funny and anarchic introduction to Anglo-Saxon history for 7-11 years olds and their families. \nPlay running time: approx. 50 mins \n  \nPerformances at 2:00pm and 3:30pm – performance tickets £4.50 per person (admission to the museum galleries not included) \n

SUMMARY:Eco-Creative Craft Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Eco-Creative Crafts  \nThursday 4th April 1:00-2:30pm and 3:00-4:30pm  \n“Turn waste things into great things – without costing the Earth”  \nJoin us for eco-creative craft sessions led by Re-Imagine at Ely Museum this Easter Break. Create fun and purposeful garden crafts to welcome in the Spring including amazing colourful wind chimes and an outdoor seat cushion using coffee bean sacks.  \nRe-Imagine is a local organization that started in 2013 and recycles waste materials that businesses normally just throw away to promote sustainability\, creativity\, and imagination.   \nParticipants will also get to take home a Re-Imagine Goody Bag\, loads of treats and a kit to make a travel tic tac toe game and continue the eco-creative journey at home.  \nThis activity is suitable for children aged 5 and above. Sessions last for 1 hour 30 minutes\, and can be booked for either 1pm or 3pm start times.  \nTickets £8  \nChildren must be accompanied by an adult. Ticket valid for one child entry to the workshop and one accompanying adult. Museum gallery admission not included with this ticket.  \n
